You’re hitting the gym religiously than ever, locking dates and shades with your make up assistants, booked your appointments with all kinds of spa treatment and avoiding over-eating even if it’s your favourite ‘ghar-ka-khaana’!
Even then, all the stress and confusion might just trigger a grey hair or lead to a pimple pop on your face. What then?
We know how hard you’ve been working to look gorgeous on your wedding, and we totally support you with that – Rome was not built in a day!
Worry no more and prepare your way to look absolutely stunning on your big day with these amazing beauty hacks just a few days away from your wedding.
Moisturizer-night: It’s not winter yet but take those gloves out of your closet. Apply moisturizer every day before you sleep and wear cotton gloves to lock the moisture in. Do the same for your feet and cover them with socks. This will make sure your skin has ample moisture for it to shine brighter on the day.
Conditioned eyelashes: All those advertisements with little feathers gliding down the eyelashes of a diva seated in a golden throne, they are real. You’ll look no different if you coat your eyelashes with Vaseline each night before sleep. This will give it the glossy feel when you put on the mascara on your wedding day.
Silky hair: Looking for the perfect shampoo and conditioner to smoothen your tresses? Do it at home. Mix 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 7-8 drops of almond oil and 5 drop of jojoba oil. Mix the ingredients and apply it to your hair. Massage your scalp well, letting the oil stay for an hour. Wash it off with a mild cleanser.
Thicker eyebrows: If you have sparse eyebrows, mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil with 1 vitamin E capsule gel and mix it properly. Use your eyebrow brush to apply this daily to get volume between those eyebrow gaps!
Pimple away: Dab a small ball of cotton into your mouth wash, or toothpaste. Wring out the excess, and apply it onto your pimple breakouts. Do this several times a day till the pimple dries out.
Smell good all day: Wedding rituals and functions drain the energy out of our systems, tiring us even before the day ends. Avoid that with this simple trick. Rub a smidge of petroleum jelly on the side of your neck, back of your ear, and wrist. Spritz the perfume all over and see how this makes it stay twice as longer.
Plumper lips: Red and lush lips without using a lipstick is possible. And affordable. Mix two drops of cinnamon oil with a drop of honey, and massage it onto your lips. This will hydrate your lips, making them look fuller!
Whiter teeth: Dip a damp toothbrush into little baking soda, be watchful of the quantity. Now add this to your toothpaste and brush off those yellow stains to leave a perfect white glow on your teeth!
